Rumour Has It Chardonnay 2024

Rumour Has It' we've strayed across the border to create our first Black Chalk still white wine. But we couldn't resist making it after being offered 4 tonnes of top quality Chardonnay from a friend in Kent. Rumour Has It 2024 was fermented in 73% French oak (half new, half old) using aromatic yeasts at cool temperatures, highlighting the pure fruit profile of this Kentish Chardonnay. There is a soft and rounded texture on the palate having gone through partial malolactic fermentation. Kent in origin but utterly Black Chalk in style.
