Mottisfont Rose Bar

Mottisfont is home to the extraordinary National Collection of pre-1900 roses. These exquisite blooms flower only once a year, infusing the evening air of the walled gardens with their captivating fragrance. On selected Friday evenings throughout June, The Black Chalk bar will be set up in the gardens, so you can stroll amongst the roses whilst sipping on a glass or sharing a bottle of our wine alongside music from The Pocket Orchestra - a match made in rose heaven! The gardens are open until 8pm (last entry at 7pm) every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1st June - 1st July. Black Chalk will be serving Wild Rose 2021 and Dancer in Pink 2023 in the gardens on Friday 7th, 14th and 21st, 5pm-8pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are free for our Black Chalk Inner Circle members, email info@blakchalkwine.co.uk to arrange collection/delivery of your tickets!
